Jessika A has been studying violin over 20 years. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil. Jessika began music studies at age 9, going on to receive her music education’s degree at Universidade Unissant’anna in São Paulo, Brazil. She has been a member of various orchestras in Brazil including the Orquestra Municipal de Guarulhos, Orquestra Acordes Pão de Açúcar and Orquestra infanto Juvenil Guri Santa Marcelina. In 2011 as a concertmaster Jessika had some great experience such as the opportunity to be conducted by George Stelluto (conductor from The Juilliard School Symphony Orchestra) and performances in International Festivals including master class performances for great Musicians included Davi Graton (concertmaster from São Paulo Symphony Orchestra, OSESP), Anastasia Petrunina (concertmaster of the Augusta Symphony Orchestra), Tomas Joiner (University of Georgea).
Jessika is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in violin Performance at the University of Houston being member of the Moores School Symphony Orchestra. She plans to pursue a DMA in violin after her Master’s degree. Jessika loves teaching violin and encouraging her students to pursue their growth as an individual having music as Part of it.
Fun fact about me is that I love sneaking out in the Middle of the night to get ice cream before go to bed haha. I’m really looking forward to start teaching at Vivaldi Music Academy I love what I do with all my heart and my mission as a violin teacher is definitely share this love with my students making them enjoy music as I do.
