Early Childhood Music Classes

Experts agree that music is an excellent vehicle for early childhood development! Not only does music bring joy to your child, it helps their neural networks make connections needed for enhanced social and intellectual development. Each class is small in size and focuses on a narrow age range (1 – 2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, and 4-5 years of age) with a musical atmosphere of play, song and dance. Our comprehensive music readiness classes for older children are great preparation for overall musicianship and eventual private lessons.

Private Music Lessons

Vivaldi Music Academy offers exceptional music lessons to students of all ages and levels in a fun and engaging environment. We focus on core principles and incorporate the music you enjoy. Beginning students can expect to start with the fundamentals, learn proper technique, rhythm, and reading music in a variety of genres. Intermediate to advanced students continue to experience progress with increased proficiency in technique in addition to mastering significant repertoire and developing overall musicianship.

Vivaldi Group Voice

The Vivaldi Voices program offers Houston’s young vocalists, ages 6-10, an opportunity to light up the stage while learning the fundamentals of vocal technique. Our choir teachers coach young singers to utilize their voices safely, with proper breathing technique, vocal exercises, and appropriate posture, while singing popular songs from musical theater to the classics as well as today’s pop hits! The Vivaldi Voices look forward to performances in our biannual recitals as well as numerous performance opportunities throughout Houston. Enrollment is determined by audition.

Suzuki Lessons

Our teachers use a variety of teaching methods and styles including the Suzuki method, developed by Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki who believed that, “If a child hears fine music from the day of his birth and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity, discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart.” Vivaldi Music Academy offers piano and violin lessons with Suzuki certified faculty members.
