Ailed Frueh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance from the University of Colima in Mexico and a Master’s in Cello Performance from Wichita State University. An accomplished performer and dedicated teacher, Ailed has played with ensembles such as the Wichita Grand Opera Orchestra, the professional chamber orchestra “Higinio Ruvalcaba,” and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She currently serves as a cello coach for the Wichita Youth Symphony and teaches privately at Music Scene. Ailed is a recipient of the KOCH Cultural Trust Grant and a multi-time winner of the Wolff Ilse Bing Chamber Music Competition. She has also appeared as a soloist with the University of Guadalajara Orchestra and participated in international festivals and masterclasses with renowned cellists. Ailed brings both passion and professionalism to her teaching, creating a thoughtful and inspiring environment for her students.
