Stacey S has been a professional vocalist, pianist, music director, choreographer and vocal coach for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Boston Conservatory of Music with a Major of Theatrical Theatre and a Minor in Actor.
While in Boston, Stacey performed at the Hunting Theatre, The Lyric Stage, the Publick Theatre was a member of The Merrimack Repertory Theatre. She was a featured vocalist for The Lenox Hotel, a member of the national touring quintet “Where’s The Band?” and a soloist in the revue “Manhattan, A Musical Bite of The Big Apple” which has residences in Boston and Key West, Florida.
Stacey has performed in Manhattan’s cabaret venues “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Danny’s Skylight Room”. She has also worked with numerous jazz groups performing in Houston and along the Gulf Coast.
Favorite roles include, Susie in “Lady Be Good” Carla in “Nine”, and Louisa in “The Fantasticks”, Rizzo in “Grease”, Prince Orlofsky in “Die Fledermause” and Carmen in “Carmen”.
Stacey studied under the direction Bea Dobelle, author or The BeaDobelle Mechanics of Singing. Stacey uses this method of voice instructions to ensure very students understands how their instrument works to avoid vocal injury and enjoy a long “singing life”!
Stacey is a member of A.G.V.A. (American Guild of Variety Artists) and the vocalists for 19 piece Ronnie Renfrow Big Band located in Houston. She is excited to be a part of the Vivaldi Music Academy Team and hopes to instill the same passion she has for music in her students.
