Noel Heysquierdo began playing guitar and exploring music at the age of 13. His interest in guitar and music led him to the Musicians Institute where he studied under many famous guitarists including Jude Gold (guitarist of Jefferson Starship), Scott Henderson, Allen Hinds, and many more.
As a teacher, Noel has been teaching all ages and levels and sharing his passion for guitar with all of his students. He began teaching in Austin, Texas at the Harmony Public School of Innovation and local music schools. Noel believes that sustaining a student’s motivation to practice and keeping their curiosity for the instrument at a peak is vital for any novice musician. He is dedicated to achieving this by setting fun achievable goals for students, as well as teaching the roots and music history of their favorite influences.
As a musician, Noel plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and classical guitar. He is proficient in many genres and styles including but not limited to Jazz, Classical, Funk, Shred Guitar, Blues, Metal, Two Hand Tapping, Advanced Finger-Picking Technique, and Chicken Pickin’. Noel currently plays electric guitar at local church services and is excited to be part of Vivaldi Music Academy.
