Nicolas P is a Houston based musician who loves to get his hands on whatever instrument he can. Nicolas started his life as a musician when he was 10 years of age when he picked up the guitar. From there Nicolas would take any chance he could to play music, whether that be in a rock band created with friends or his school’s jazz ensemble. Nicolas would go on to receive his bachelors in Music Performance from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in south Dallas.

Well versed in multiple genres including contemporary, jazz, RnB, rock, and funk, Nicolas has had the opportunity to play on show boats in Branson, Missouri, corporate events in the Dallas area, and play with different ensembles in different venues in the Dallas and Houston area. Currently, he is involved in various groups in Houston including the shoegaze noise rock band Gammawave or his personal project Nostalgia Trip which is in the style of rock fusion.

Nicolas has taught for over 5 years and believes in using student interests first to build a strong musical foundation and then also sharing new music to inspire and grow his students further beyond that. From learning to hold the guitar to playing jaw dropping solos, Nicolas enjoys helping every student on their own musical journey.
