Pianist, Nazaret C, was raised in Houston, Texas, and has been playing music since childhood. He is pursued his Bachelor’s in Music from the University of Houston with a concentration in piano and graduated in June 2021. He has studied with professor Brian Kauk in-band performance.
Nazaret enjoys playing piano and his secondary instrument is the trombone. As a pianist, Nazaret has performed with the University of Houston Jazz Orchestra in 2019 and the University of Houston Opera Orchestra in 2016 and 2017. Along with freelance musician performances in Houston.
As a performer, Nazaret plays piano in the orchestra and solo with the University of Houston Jazz and Opera. Aside from piano, Nazaret loves to play trombone and has played as a guest with Clear Lake Symphony, Latino Christian Band “Salvador”, University of Houston Symphonic Winds, and the quartet “Funky Four.” He enjoys performing and loves helping students explore the joy of performing.
Nazaret teaches a variety of genres and specializes in Jazz and classical. As a teacher, Nazaret has a passion for helping students discover the reward of music. From beginner to advanced students, Nazaret wants to help students develop their skills to become better musicians and nurture their love for music. Outside of music, Nazaret enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
