Romanian-American soprano Natalia L grew up in Houston, Texas, where she began studying piano and voice at an early age, cultivating a deep love for music. During her undergraduate studies in voice at Baylor University, she explored various facets of classical singing and performed a range of principal roles with Baylor Opera Theatre. Among her most notable performances were Laurie in The Tender Land by Copland and the title role in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience.
In 2023, alongside her performance work, Natalia began teaching private voice lessons, marking the start of her journey as an educator. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Vocal Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, and Arts Leadership at the University of Houston. With the Moores Opera Center, she has appeared in roles such as Amy in Little Women and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, continuing to develop her artistry both on stage and in the studio.
