Nam P began his exploration of piano at the age of five and was professionally trained since he was eight years old. Nam received multiple scholarships to complete his Professional Piano Performance degree at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. He is now continuing his musical studies and pursuing his Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Music Education on a piano scholarship at the University of Houston – Moores School of Music, under the guidance of Professor Tali Morgulis.
Nam has been active as a soloist, performing at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music Opera Hall, Saigon Municipal Opera House, and St. Lukes United Methodist Church. In addition, he has been teaching private piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels for over five years.
As a music teacher, Nam’s goal is to encourage his students’ passion for music and embolden them to follow their creativity and begin to devise their own unique music masterpieces. Nam believes everyone expresses their music distinctively and uniquely, and he ultimately hopes to provide the proper guidance to his students so that they are able to perform their favorite pieces confidently and effortlessly.
