Myoa is a Singer/Songwriter, Performing Artist and Actress whose musical journey has catapulted her from the beautiful coast of West Africa (Nigeria) to the Queen’s land in EnglandUK, and finally to the immensely diverse and invigorating music scene of the USA.

In the words of Myoa, which means “God brings joy,” “I was created to inspire and impact certain truths and to give joy to people who listen to my music.” penning her first song at the age of 9.

It was while studying at the University of Plymouth in South West England that she honed her songwriting and keyboard skills and discovered her individuality and purpose. “I spent a lot of my spare time in my room writing music on my keyboard when I wasn’t around the social circle. I became comfortable and confident in who I was and who I wanted to be.

Enrolling at Hollywood California’s heralded Musicians Institute, Myoa dove in head first, learning the art of vocal performance & music production and landing a highly coveted internship at the world’s largest music company, Universal Music Group. The rest is history… 

Myoa sees greater benefit in creating her own lane in the music business. Her first album, Beautiful Journey,& subsequent EP’s afterwards “validates all my hard work as an independent artist.” Myoa has had her band since 2014 and performs live at Hip Trendy Intimate venues. She Performed at the 2017 Pepsi Super Bowl Event Private Party in Houston and has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder and Tom Jones She also directs and produces all her music videos. She enjoys teaching and developing others to be artists and songwriters in this competitive environment.
