Dr. Mohammad Salman is a passionate voice instructor and seasoned performer with over 20 years of experience in vocal training and performance. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance with a minor in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Houston, as well as a Master of Liberal Arts in Vocal Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music from the University of St. Thomas. He also earned an Associate Degree in Vocal Performance from the Conservatory of Tehran, grounding his training in a rich blend of Western and Eastern musical traditions.

As an educator, Mohammad specializes in teaching students of all ages, from children to adults. He employs creative and engaging methods for young learners, making music both fun and accessible, while applying scientifically grounded techniques for adults, helping them achieve rapid improvement while enjoying the process. His tailored approach ensures each student’s unique talents and goals are nurtured.

On stage, Mohammad has performed a wide range of notable operatic roles, including Kecal in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, Leporello in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and Superintendent Budd in Britten’s Albert Herring. His work extends to international recordings, including The Persians by Alexander Rahbari (as Darius the Great) for NAXOS and The Woman by Farshad Abbasi, available on Spotify.

His dynamic career also includes solo and ensemble performances in diverse settings, from opera stages to church services and media productions. Mohammad’s scholarly interests have led to lectures and presentations on the influence of Persian poetry on Western art songs, bridging cultural and musical traditions.

With his commitment to excellence, Mohammad inspires his students to reach their highest potential while fostering a lifelong love for music.
