Megan Thalía Ferrari, mezzo-soprano, is a classically trained singer from the Houston area. She has performed in various opera productions with the Moores Opera Center such as The Love For Three Oranges by Prokofiev, L’amico Fritz by Mascagni, and Douglas Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe.
She has also performed in large choral works such as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and Sergei Prokofiev’s Alexander Nevsky with Moores Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Ferrari graduated from the University of Houston Moores School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Voice where she studied with Ms. Melanie Sonnenberg. She obtained her teaching certificate to teach Early Childhood music through the state of Texas.
