Lewis E. is a violinist, composer, and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. With a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Morehouse College, he has cultivated a rich musical background. From a young age, Lewis was immersed in the Suzuki method, honing his skills and mastering the art of violin playing.
His exceptional talent and dedication to his craft were recognized when he earned the prestigious 2012 NANM prize for exceptional performance. As a violin teacher, Lewis has shared his expertise with students, instructing them on theory and technique, nurturing their development as performing, recording, and composing musicians.
Lewis enjoys guiding students of all ages and abilities on their musical journey. He finds immense joy in witnessing their growth and progress. Moreover, Lewis has a keen ability to blend Classical and Jazz elements, infusing them into various genres of music. By leveraging innovative string orchestration techniques, he has crafted a unique sound that is reshaping the musical landscape.
His contributions extend beyond teaching and performing. Lewis has also made significant contributions as a producer, working on projects for renowned platforms such as HBO, BET, CBS, and Paramount. Alongside his band and production group, Afrogenius, Lewis has shared his music with audiences through captivating live performances across North America.
Lewis’s artistry has garnered national recognition, with notable appearances on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” in 2019 and the film “Coming 2 America.” His accomplishments as a performer and producer have elevated his status in the industry.
Lewis is thrilled to join Vivaldi Music Academy and is looking forward to sharing the knowledge and experience with his students to make their performance debuts in the recitals and concert halls.
