A graduate of Berklee College of Music [B.M.], and Boston Conservatory [M.F.A. – Musical Theater], the seasoned performer has worked throughout New England in various regional productions (Ogunquit Playhouse, Speakeasy Stage, Wheelock Family Theater), performed at the Boston Symphony Hall, conducted vocal masterclasses and workshops, while also producing and directing his own work. Kelton considers it a sheer gift to be apart of the Vivaldi Music Academy and is thrilled to make music together!
Kelton Washington carries a passion for music that dates back as far as he can recall. A natural born leader, Kelton conducted his first Mass Choir at the age of nine, founded a gospel group at age fourteen (performing throughout greater Houston), while also serving as Worship Leader for his local church. During those foundational years, Kelton learned piano by ear prior to his transition to formal piano training, and, while his musical foundation has its origin in the likes of gospel and jazz, Kelton is a real lover of classical music and Musical Theater. He was a participant in the 2009 and 2010 Texas All-State Men’s Choir, actively involved in community theater productions, and also toured Europe as the featured soloist for the Sound of America Honor Chorus.
