Justin T is a talented multi-instrumentalist with expertise across a variety of genres, including jazz, country, blues, rock, heavy metal, funk, and R&B. His diverse music career encompasses touring, songwriting, studio work, and live television performances, along with mentoring emerging artists to industry standards and guiding their development. Hailing from a musically rich family in Houston, Texas, Justin received his first guitar at eight and quickly embraced a lifelong passion for music. At seventeen, he was inducted into the School of Rock Allstars and began teaching there while still a student.
After high school, Justin collaborated with Texas CMA award-winning artist Hannah Kay and American Idol Top 5 Finalist Laci Kay Boothe, where he discovered his love for live performances and session work. This experience led him to open for and record with notable country artists such as Cody Johnson and Maren Morris. In 2019, Justin made a pivotal decision to serve in the United States Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer until 2023. Following his honorable discharge, he pursued an audio engineering degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Justin believes that engaging students through their passion for music is vital, as it enhances their motivation and deepens their learning experience. He states, “When students are passionate about what they are doing, they are more likely to stay focused and overcome challenges.” Committed to fostering hard work and dedication, Justin is dedicated to helping students master their instruments, compose original music, and excel in performances, guiding them to become the musicians they aspire to be.
