Giselle B is a mezzo-soprano from Houston, TX, with a lifelong passion for music. She began her training in piano and voice at a young age and has continued to excel as a versatile performer. While her formal education is rooted in choral and operatic singing, she also enjoys exploring musical theater, pop, jazz, and mariachi in her free time.
Currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Houston, Giselle has performed with the Moores Opera Center in roles like Meg in Little Women, La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, and La Maestra delle Novizie in Suor Angelica. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Baylor University, where she performed leading roles such as Luisa in Luisa Fernanda and Lady Jane in Patience. She has also performed with The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston, Red River Lyric Opera, and Music on Site Inc.
Giselle has excelled in several competitions, including the National Association of Teachers of Singing auditions, the Schmidt Undergraduate Vocal Competition, and the TMEA Texas All-State Choir Auditions.
As a passionate music educator, Giselle believes in helping students of all ages discover creativity, confidence, and joy through music. She is dedicated to nurturing her students’ growth and fostering a love for music in all who work with her.
