Originally hailing from Inwood, West Virginia, violinist Elijah B is an active chamber musician, teacher, and orchestral musician in and around the Houston area. Receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from West Virginia University, and the University of Houston, respectively, his primary teachers include Ewa Tryczynska, Mikylah Myers, and Kirsten Yon.
Recently, Elijah has performed with the Symphony of Southeast Texas, Clear Lake Chamber Ensemble, AURA Contemporary Ensemble, and as a concertmaster of the Moores School Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, he was a finalist in the MTNA Young Artist Chamber Music competition, and in his career has had the opportunity to perform and work in masterclasses with artists such as Kathleen Winkler, Ray Chen, and Midori.
