Dylan J. DiMauro is a percussionist, drummer, music educator, clinician, and composer. Dylan earned a Masters of Music Performance Degree from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and a Bachelor’s of Music Education Degree from the Shenandoah Conservatory. He enjoys teaching students how to play piano and drums.
From an early age, Dylan learned how to play piano which lead him to pursue his degrees in music. Dylan has studied orchestral percussion and drum set with Matthew Strauss, Richard Brown, Richard Albagli, Earl Yowell, Craig Collison, and Rich LaPlante. As an orchestral musician he has performed with the Lake George Chamber Orchestra, Shepherd School of Music Symphony Orchestra, and the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Orchestra. Dylan has also performed with other ensembles such as the Adirondack Percussion Quartet and the Charles Cornell Jazz Trio. Dylan enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge of music with students of all ages.
