Angela P was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She started taking piano lessons at age 3 and her love of music grew from there. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus in Vocal Performance from Houston Baptist University.
She is a soprano whose solo performance repertoire includes Handel, Brahms, and Debussy. She has also lent her voice to various opera productions including A Game of Chance and Beauty and the Beast. As Vice-President of HBU’s Theatre Troupe, Rex Fleming Players, she directed and performed in productions ranging from The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe to the classical Greek Tragedy, Helen. As a chorale singer with HBU’s Schola Cantorum, Angela spent time performing in Austria at the Haydn Classical Music Festival. Angela also performs accompanying herself on piano and ukulele for weddings, funerals, and public venues.
She has over 10 years of teaching experience and has taught voice, piano, ukulele, theory, music composition, guitar, drums, and theatre. She loves to help her students reach their personal goals and aims to evoke joy and beauty when making music with her students.
