Alejandra Burgos started her musical studies and piano studies at Instituto de Bellas Artes in Medellin, Colombia, later she finished her undergrad degree in Music with emphasis in piano at Fundacion Universitaria Bellas Artes, receiving the honor degree for her academic excellence.
In 2015 she was accepted into the Sam Houston State University with a full scholarship and a teaching assistant position, to do her Masters in collaborative piano and chamber music, under the direction of Dr. Ilonka Rus. During her Masters she was the principal pianist for the Sam Houston Wind ensemble.
As a teacher, Alejandra started during her undergrad where she taught music for kids and teens, teaching not only piano, but also introduction to music. She has been teaching ever since, Alejandra isa committed teacher with a desire to offer a creative and professional lesson to every student.
