Dallis Williams, a distinguished Houston native, brings a wealth of experience and talent to her musical pursuits. A graduate of Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, she earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance with a dual concentration in violin and voice from The University of Tampa, where she completed her degree in 2023. Dallis is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Management at the University of Miami, with an anticipated graduation in two years.
Her performance career is marked by notable achievements on both national and international stages. Dallis has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and has toured extensively in Greece and across Texas. Her theatrical debut at the University of Tampa as Celie in The Color Purple at Stageworks Theater garnered critical acclaim and was featured on Broadway World.
In addition to her solo work, Dallis has been an active participant in several esteemed ensembles, including the Houston Youth Symphony, the HYS Chamber Music Program, the University of Tampa’s Symphony Orchestra and String Quartet, and various vocal ensembles. Her regional theater credits include roles such as Sister Hubert in Nunsense (MVE), Mama Euralie in Once on This Island (MVE), and Marta in Stephen Sondheim’s Company (Playhouse 1960). She currently holds an ensemble role in the Garden Theater’s production of Assassins.
Dallis is excited to embark on her journey with VMA, where she looks forward to furthering her education and continuing to inspire and cultivate young musicians through her expertise and dedication.
