The Vivaldi Music Academy Summer Concert is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th between the hours of 11 am to 5 pm. Students will receive a one-hour time slot for their recital time in the upcoming weeks. The recital will be held at Houston Baptist University’s Morris Cultural Arts Center within the Belin Chapel (7502 Fondren Street Houston, TX 77074).
All family and friends are welcome to attend the concert. Lessons and classes will continue Saturday June 7th as scheduled (for example, students with morning lesson times will have afternoon performance times).

Vivaldi Music Academy is Now Offering DRUM/PERCUSSION AND TRUPET LESSONS
Drum lessons at Vivaldi Music Academy combine all aspects of percussion into a comprehensive program for both practice and study. Students will be well-versed in western and non-western approaches working both in the classical and popular genres. Our faculty will guide students in maximizing their ability to learn new repertoire and techniques with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. Theory is also encouraged.
Vivaldi Music Academy offers the best trumpet lessons in Houston. Faculty members support each student’s personal growth in our dynamic program designed to continue technical and physical development. We build strong beginning to advanced trumpet players and strive to motivate complete musicians.
Spotlight: Yanira Soria – Piano Lessons
Spanish born pianist Yanira Soria started piano at the age of 5 at Musicales Andiano Academy in Zaragoza. Ms. Soria received her MM in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music at the University of Houston where she studies with Timothy Hester and is now in the process of finishing her DMA in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music there as well. Ms. Soria received her BM in solo piano from Sam Houston State University where she studied with Sergio Ruiz.
Ms. Soria has performed across the United States, China, Spain, Mexico, Czech Republic, Puerto Rico and Colombia as a soloist and chamber musician. She has also participated in many festivals including the Prague International Piano Masterclasses and in 2012 was invited to represent Spain at the IV Encuentro Internacional de Música in Medellín, Colombia.
