Master Classes for Vivaldi Music Academy Students – Group Classes
Vivaldi Music Academy students have the opportunity to attend FREE group Master Classes online. In the one hour class students will perform in front of their peers, learn by seeing what other students are working on and be exposed to different teaching styles. It’s a beneficial way for students to learn.
Master classes are a valuable method for integrated learning used by renowned universities and music academies such as Juilliard, Rice University, Boston Conservatory and Yale University.
Classes are organized by a range of ages and levels, allowing all students the opportunity to play with and learn from their peers. Advanced students reinforce their skills by teaching and demonstrating what they know for younger students; and younger students learn from advanced students as well.
Student can learn from another teacher or in a group setting with peer to peer interaction- is very important and beneficial for creative and critical thinking, especially in an art form such as music.
It’s an art form – they absolutely need to be able to explain why music makes them feel a certain way or what they think about it – critical and creative thinking in a group setting is a crucial part of music education.
