The Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall performance is an amazing opportunity for our students to perform in one of the most prestigious venues in the world. Highlights from the 268-seat auditorium have included the world premiere of Charles Ives’s Violin Sonata No. 3 in 1917; groundbreaking world premiere performances by Harry Partch in 1944 and John Cage in 1946; avant-garde recitals by Yoko Ono in the 1960s; and the innovative “Jazz: The Personal Dimension” series of the late 1960s-1970s. Among the remarkable soloists and groups that Carnegie Hall presents at the Weill Recital Hall iare the MET Chamber Ensemble and James Levine, who have appeared each season since 1998.

Your child and family will have a great experience and many memories to cherish in the years to come.
